Our Story
GOLDEN RULE has existed in various forms with the early stages being a converted guest house on the Duininck property called Orchard Art House and an intermediate pop-up on George Street by the same name. The name and new concept was an organic progression and a result of staring at a beautiful piece of artwork done by Armed Creative that said simply "THE GOLDEN RULE."
GOLDEN RULE seeks to support art and good design and to promote kindness and community. GOLDEN RULE has always been more than a shop. At its heart it is a place to come together, connect, create, share ideas and thoughts and hold space for one another.
